This was such a fun experience! Since the moment Stephanie reached out I just knew we clicked and where going to have a great time together. When I asked about what her vision for the day was, she said, “ I want it to be easy, relaxed, just sharing our vows just us two, exploring the city, and going to the Jardin, maybe stopping for a celebratory drink". Sure enough, that’s exactly what we did!

I met Stephanie and Carlos at their airbnb, they were super relaxed and mellow. Stephanie had just stepped out of the shower, with her hair still wet. Which was totally fine because we had scheduled into the timeline plenty of extra time so they could get ready in peace.

Then when they felt ready, I set up the first look in the courtyard, it was emotional and heart-warming. The ceremony followed shortly, and they shared their hand written vows to one another-lots of laughs and tears. It was private and exactly what they wanted.

Then we grabbed our belongings before heading to the Templo Santo Domingo where we explored, stopped for some Rambutans, and made our way through the colorful and charming streets. Our last stop was the Jardin Etnobotanico’s 5pm guided walking tour where we learned about the rich plant history and got to take some awesome shots on the property.

To finish off the evening, we walked over to Pitiona rooftop for a few small bites and celebratory drinks! We were having so much fun together that after the fancy drinks, we made our way to the late night street food vendors for “Hamburguesas Hawaianas” and street corn. It was such a fun and amazing day!
