Carlsbad Cliffs Couples Session

This Carlsbad Cliffs couples session, (although a gloomy evening) was full of energy and good vibes thanks to this lively couple. We had so much fun shooting and laughing all up and down the coast.

This spot is awesome, it’s located just a bit north of Terramar Beach and across Manzano Dr. There is also a little coastal trail across the street which is often a great little photo-op because in the spring/summer there are tons of fresh yellow blooms.

The cliffs here have a really unique look due to the formation of the bluffs. It can be a little scary but totally worth it. I enjoy this spot because once you’re done shooting on the bluffs, you can (carefully) take a little sandy trail down to the beach which you can have all to yourselves.

Justin and Amy actually just recently moved to San Diego from Toronto, Canada! Justin got a job in Carlsbad and so started their new adventure here in San Diego county, and having the shoot in Carlsbad was perfect to document their new journey!
