This Mission San Luis Rey engagement session in Oceanside, CA was so much fun! The mission is so beautiful and charming, with lots of Spanish character, cactus gardens, white columns, and a historic cobblestone arch, which made for the perfect backdrop for these engagement photos.

It was a beautiful sunny day, with wonderful weather. We met at the parking lot around an hour before sundown so we could have the best lighting possible. It was a weekday which made for a pleasant atmosphere since there was little foot traffic, we had it all to ourselves!
