Guajome Regional Park Oceanside, CA Anniversary

This Guajome Regional Park engagement session was so much fun and very exciting for me, as it’s a location that is near my home in Oceanside and is where I normally take my dog for long walks. I’ve always been in aw of how beautiful this park is.

During the spring and summer it shines with tall green grass, fields of yellow mustard grass, lush vegetation and trails. During the fall it still shines with golden tall grass, tree lined trails, and the lake itself. I’m so happy I finally got to shoot here and I’m so looking forward to shooting here again.

Kiara and Rick are actually celebrating 10 years of marriage and they wanted to celebrate by taking “engagement photos”, because they never got the opportunity when they were young and engaged! I loved that they decided to go for it.

It was a cloudy day, (what’s up with the weather San Diego!?!) but they wanted it to feel like spring and that’s what we got. We had such a great time walking through the trails and exploring. They even brought along their fur baby Kodak, he makes a few cute cameos in the shots!
