Maggie + Mark reached out to me for their beach side elopement, they came out all the way from New Mexico to tie the knot in sunny San Diego! We were joined by their sweet son along with Marks mom.

I met them at the Coronado Hotel along with Steve our awesome local officiant. They wanted a quick ceremony during the day followed by portraits along this sandy beach. At first I was a bit skeptical about shooting so early in the day, but since they had plans later in the evening, we would have to make it work. As a photographer we usually try to avoid over head sun, but we managed to make creative choices and I’m actually so happy with how they turned out considering it was mid-day lighting.
