Kings Canyon National Park Elopement

This Kings Canyon National Park elopement is filled with stunning views of Muir Rock, grassy meadows, waterfalls, and even towering Sequoias-and of course a lovely couple!

Iz and Jose happened to reach out saying how they wanted to elope in Kings Canyon NP since it was the location of their first camping trip they took as a couple. However they couldn’t find any information or photos of past elopements at Kings Canyon. As fate had it, I read that email as I had JUST wrapped up shooting an elopement at the park. We immediately bonded over our shared sentiment that the park was the forgotten sister park to Sequoia National Park, and deserved more recognition because it’s full of stunning locations.

We started the day by meeting in the morning in the parking lot of Cedar Grove lodge, we then caravanned over to Muir Rock. I setup the first look for not only her soon to be husband but also with her dad!

The ceremony took place on Muir Rock itself overlooking the beautiful river bed, Iz’s father led the ceremony and they were accompanied by their close friends and family.

After celebratory hugs the three of us continued into exploring the park, taking photos, and enjoying the views. We explored Muir Rock, Roaring River Falls, hiked along Zumwalt Meadows, and ended the evening at Grant Grove. Check out their day below! xx
