San Miguel De Allende Elopement

San Miguel De Allende Elopement

Caitlin + Brian

This San Miguel de Allende elopement in Guanajuato, Mexico is filled with bold colors, a red wedding dress, beautiful cobblestone streets, and a magical dinner celebration under twinkling lights.

Caitlin and Brian knew they wanted to have a small and intimate ceremony in the town that Brian is actually from. San Miguel de Allende is a charming town and considered a “pueblo magico” which is one of the towns that the Mexican government recognizes as filled with "cultural richness, historical relevance, cuisine, art crafts, and great hospitality.” Locals also share that the town was built on a bed of rose-quartz. So the vibes here are amazing!

I was so excited to be able to travel to this wonderful place again.

Caitlin and Brian rented out an Airbnb that sits on the higher part of town, they specifically chose this lodging so that they could have a rooftop ceremony.

They both got ready on separate floors, with there friends and family intermingling. We had the first look on the rooftop, and then they dived into their ceremony. It was a bit windy, but totally stunning.

After the ceremony, the three of us walked through the center of town including the iconic pink church, walked through the beautiful streets, stopping when we saw interesting doorways and such.

We walked our way over to Brian’s grandpa’s family home, where they have a beautiful restaurant located in the courtyard, called Paprika.

They celebrated the evening with delicious food, horchata, mariachi playing, all under the twinkling lights of their family home. How special!

Check out there day below. xx
