I had the best time exploring around the hearty coast of Big Sur + getting to capture this fun + easy-going couple for their engagement session.

This whole session was a surprise, R thought they were just having a low-key vacation, but the day before this all went down, I actually captured her surprise proposal over at COAST Big Sur. V had touched base with me a few weeks prior and told me he had rented out a beautiful space with rooftop views of the ocean with a candle lit dinner + private chef, where he planned to pop the question. As he played “A Whole New World”, I popped out and snapped the moment!

V had also planned for this engagement session surprise as an extra special touch, (which we shot the day right after the proposal). We started at the beautiful Glen Oaks Cabins and it’s surrounding redwood grove, drove our way over to the classic views of McWay Falls, hiked down a local trail, and finished off the evening at Pfeiffer Beach.
