Megan and Mike flew out to the U.S. for a classic west coast road trip (rented a convertible and all) from Canada! I got to meet them at one of their pit stops, non other than the majestic and grand, Kings Canyon National Park.

Kings Canyon is the lesser visited sister park of Sequoia National Park, although I’m not sure why?? Kings Canyon is an intense and beautiful landscape, especially once you drive all the way down Highway 180. Unfortunately, due to the early winter road conditions, they closed the entrance to the highway while we were there.

So instead I took Megan and Mike to my favorite spots that were accessible, we hung out at the Big Stump area, the General Grant, Indian Basin Meadow, and a fun little hike to a panoramic vista.
