Sunset Cliffs Elopement in San Diego

Marshane + Terry

What a year this has been! After putting a big wedding on hold they decided to go ahead and still get married. I was so happy to be able to get to celebrate and capture Marshane + Terry’s special day at Sunset Cliffs with Just Married masks and all haha.

I absolutely love when couples incorporate special little details to their elopement day that reflects a little of who they are and what they’re all about. Marshane gifted Terry a bottle of Lagavulin as seen in Parks and Rec (with a classic good ol’ Ron Swanson quote) They met in DC after all ;)

Terry also lived for 5 years in Tanzania doing important community work, after taking a trip back last year with Marshane, they had also decided on doing a ceremony there next year. To commemorate that special bond to Tanzania, they even brought along a Maasai Shuka blanket to watch the sunset as they sipped champagne!

A truly special day with two super sweet and kind humans, I’m happy and honored to know them.
