With more and more couples choosing to celebrate on their own and forgoing original wedding plans and opting for intimate elopements, I’m even more honored to be able to be the one and only witnesses of it all!

Krizel and Jon had a courthouse wedding and then ran for the mountains! Literally. Well to the Laguna Mountains aka Mount Laguna or Mt Laguna or Cleveland National Forest, or even PCT territory all are correct answers. I love shooting in Mount Laguna especially in October, the weather is perfect and the trees are gently turning fall colors, plus the sunsets are just so killer from my favorite viewpoint. Needless to say it’s one of my top places to shoot in San Diego.

We seriously had the best time ever! Frolicking around the meadows and trees, dodging flies, laughing and jamming to music, and then watching the sunset over looking the Anza Borrego desert with all sorts of fun rock formations, all while they popped and sprayed some fancy champagne (jk it was sparkling cider but same vibe haha and smelled delicious)!

I’m lucky to shoot here and even luckier to have met such wonderful people like Krizel and Jon, I am truly fortunate and appreciative that I always get the BEST couples.
