Pfeiffer Beach Anniversary Session in Big Sur, California

Big Sur is a stretch of coast that feels pre-historic, where time seems to have stopped, and you’re immediately taken a-back by the raw beauty and power of it’s shore, it’s dropping cliffs, and it’s perfect proximity to the canopy of redwood forest. Mmmmm. I LOVE Big Sur (can ya tell?), I’ve been consistently camping here for years and years now, always coming back for more. To say this place has a special one-of-a-kind magic draw would be an understatement. It’s freakin magnetic!

SO, of course I am always a happy camper when I get to shoot here, and this time was no different. Vivianna and Luis both live in Big Sur (so luckyyyy) , they actually eloped here, so safe to say they love it too!

We shot in the morning at Pfeiffer Beach, famous for it’s iconic purple sand and key hole arch rocks. If you know Big Sur, you know the weather is constantly changing, we had fog roll through, then sunshine, and then some more cloud coverage. It was such a beautiful day exploring and capturing these two by the sea.
